Our Process of Remanufacturing Commercial Fitness
& Gym Equipment

Healthline is able to offer top-of-the-line, discount commercial fitness and gym equipment as a result of our thorough remanufacturing process. While different types of fitness equipment require different processes, there are essential steps in our remanufacturing process that every piece of equipment must go through.

No matter the type of fitness equipment, we first test the piece, checking all electrical, motor and structural components to ensure that they are working properly. If they are not in working order, we repair or replace the component with a brand new part.

Additionally, we disassemble the piece down to the basic frame, then pellet blast and refinish it to a like-new condition. This process eliminates all original paint, surface rust, scratches and any other imperfections. The finished coating is an electro-magnetic powder process that is scratch resistant and incredibly durable compared to any alternative finish.

Once all repairs and replacements are complete, we check the equipment again to ensure that all components are working as they should.

Example: Remanufactured Treadmills

Each treadmill undergoes a 37-point inspection process with special attention paid to critical components. All obvious flaws are noted on the work ticket during the inspection. Once the inspection is completed, a list of required parts and components is prepared for each machine, per serial number. 

The machine is then disassembled down to the frame, which is prepped for sandblasting and re-powder coating. While the frame is being sandblasted and powder-coated, the rollers, drive motors and elevation motors are tested, rebuilt then tested again.

Part of our checklist for treadmills includes:

• Checking all LED functions of the console panel (if defective, LEDs are sent for repair)
• Checking speed, elevation and identify any damaged or malfunctioning components
• Testing of fire wax pump motor
• Removal of wax system tubing and motor and servicing of wax nozzle
• Refinishing and painting front and rear drive rollers and roller shafts
• Replacing bearings and original shafts with new parts
• Painting all outer covers and plastic shrouds and replace stickers/decals
• Reinstalling all motors and electronics
• Replacing belts, deck and assorted hardware and refill wax bladder
• Replacing anti-static tinsel set and reinstall
• Re-checking all LED functions of console panel
• Re-checking speed, elevation and identify any damaged or malfunctioning components
• Re-testing fire wax pump motor
• Erasing all treadmill statistics from panel
• Reprogramming and updating all console firmware and software to the latest versions
• Boxing console assembly, package console uprights and treadmill
• Placing assembly instructions and owners manual in box
